It is important for the company because they don’t want to lose business and if they had to close, many people would lose their jobs. Think about Garrett’s mother and what she does for a living. This could launch a discussion about the history of the teenager and talk about the increase in responsibility given (being tried as adults for crimes committed underage, selective service) and the decrease in rights (smoking, drinking, movies, voting, video games, driving, owning property, privacy especially for health choices).
